JS Dean was founded by Susana and Jason Dean who provide the vision and leadership to the company and our partners. Susana began working in the property management industry in the 1980s. Beginning with modest work in small scale PropertyMaintenance and Management, Susana and her family grew a sustainable business in San Diego. Susana has a Real Estate Salesperson License issued inCalifornia, as well as a Real Estate Broker’s License in Michigan. Like manyDetroit natives though, Susana was pulled back to her roots and relocated their business here almost 13 years ago now. Jason began managing properties in the early 1990s in San Diego. The Deans are blessed to count on their 60 employees all members of the JS Dean Family. The property management, facilities and administrative staff endeavor to serve the tenants, owners and communities they serve across Detroit and the region. Over 90% of our employees, including theDeans live in Detroit.
